Intensive shrimp aquaculture mode has been commonly adopted in shrimp farming due to yield advantages and management advantages, but intensive aquaculture faces the threat of increased shrimp disease outbreak rate. The danger of shrimp diseases has gradually become an important factor restricting the development of shrimp aquaculture with high yield, high efficiency and low cost.
The aim of this kit is to detect potential pathogens or genes in white shrimp culture by using multiplex PCR amplification technology, which is used to monitor the infection of possible pathogens in white shrimp culture and provide molecular diagnosis basis for white shrimp culture.
The results of this kit are for reference only, it is recommended to combine with other symptoms in the white shrimp aquaculture process for comprehensive analysis.
The kit detect 8 shrimp pathogens, which include Shrimp white spot syndrome virus (WSSV), shrimp infectious Myonecrosis Virus (IMNV), shrimp Taura virus (TSV), PirA/B, shrimp iridovirus (DIV1), Vibrio harveyi (VH), infectious hypodermal and haematopoietic organ necrosis viurs (IHHNV), shrimp Enterocytozoon Hepatopenaei (EHP). 8 pathogen- specific gene sequences were used to designed primers and probes. A one-step reverse transcription- polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) combined with Taqman hydrolysis probe technology was used to achieve the co-detection of DNA and RNA of the samples through the change of fluorescence signals on a fluorescence quantitative PCR instrument.
