RainSure Ultra Multiplex Microbial Infection digital PCR Detection kit and DropDx-2250 instrument are used to detect changes in the course of sepsis in intensive care unit patients. The system detects whole blood samples directly, without the need for blood cultures. The test takes less than 5 hours and covers 31 common clinical bacteria and fungi and 9 antibiotic resistance genes.
