Recently, an article titled "Droplet digital PCR: An effective method for monitoring and prognostic evaluation of minimal residual disease in JMML" was published by the Department of Hematology and Oncology, Shanghai Children's Medical Center in the British Journal of Heamatology (Impact Seal 6.5). The article is a retrospective study on the use of Droplet Digital PCR to monitor and evaluate minimal residual disease (MRD) in Juvenile Myelomonocytic Leukemia (JMML). This retrospective study utilized the droplet digital PCR technique, a highly sensitive nucleic acid detection and quantification technique, to monitor MRD in 32 JMML patients. The results demonstrated that ddPCR detected relapse manifestations earlier than traditional methods and uncovered molecular insights into JMML MRD dynamics.
