RainSure Ultra Multiplex Microbial Infection digital PCR Detection Kit Helps the First Affiliated Hospital of Soochow University to Identify Nosocomial Infections Rapidly

Recently, Dr Xiaoping Huang, M.D., deputy director of the Department of Infectious Diseases, head of Infectious Diseases ICU of the First People's Hospital Affiliated to Soochow University, and a renowned infectious diseases expert, gave a training and lecture on rapid identification and rapid assessment of infections. The lecture introduced the rapid diagnosis and identification system of common clinical microbial infection sources independently developed by Dr Huang's laboratory. These include Bedside Sputum Smear Rapid Staining and Imaging System and digital PCR Ultra Multiplex Microbial Detection Molecular Diagnostic Platform. The #rainsure digital PCR platform DropX-2250 and 31-plex Microbial Infection detection kit helped in the process. Dr Huang's laboratory uses bedside sputum smear morphology diagnostic and digital PCR molecular diagnostic platform for dynamic monitoring of ICU patients during hospitalization, targeting the patient's subacoustic valve, airway and other parts of the sample sampling, in the patient's hospitalization and during the treatment of the means of dynamic monitoring to assess the process of changes in the treatment process of the patient's microbial infections in multiple parts of the pathogens species and copy number quantification, which can be used for early prediction and rapid diagnosis of ventilator-associated pneumonia and determination of the efficacy of the treatment process. Clinicians in the meeting had a lively discussion and in-depth discussions on the diagnostic results, treatment programs and efficacy of different patients. It is foreseeable that the new technology platform will be applied to clinical diagnosis more often in the future, bringing more technological innovations and better diagnostic and treatment experience for doctors and patients.
